Several
years ago now, though it seems like yesterday, Chicago
Bears great Walter Payton shocked Bears fans and the
world in general with his announcement that he was in
need of a liver transplant. In the ensuing months, the
millions who witnessed Walter's courage on the field,
were even more inspired by his courage and tenacity
with this new battle.
Thousands of Americans are in need of vital organ and
tissues. For many, the chance to live a full life won’t
come unless many more of us consider organ and tissue
donation. To think of others in a time of grief and
sorrow is truly compassionate and selfless.
Please
consider the gift of life: organ and tissue donation.
The
Monsters of the Webway support this gift in the spirit
of love and generosity. Discussing your intentions with
your family about organ and tissue donation is just
the first step in making a difference in someone else's
life. Slowly, but surely there are moves being made
by certain entities to get the word out about organ
donation.
The
Monsters of the Webway are joining forces with these
entities to get the word out, especially when it hits
